Creating New Filters

System Filters are pre-defined filters that you may choose to use instead of creating your own custom filters.  A System Filter in the Filter Maintenance screen can be identified by the filter name displayed in green.  These filters cannot be edited or deleted, but you can create a new custom filter based from the query used in a System Filter (i.e., in the Filter Maintenance screen (the first screenshot shown below), you cannot use the ‘Edit’ button but can use the ‘New’ button, which invokes the New Filter pop-up screen (the second screenshot shown below) in which you can choose the ‘New Filter – Copy of Selected Filter’ option, invoking the Case Filter Builder screen (the third screenshot shown below) in which you can create a new filter with the same parameters as the System Filter you selected).
