From the top Main Menu toolbar (File Menu), select ‘Tables’>’Professionals’ to invoke the Professional List screen shown below.
At the top of the Professional List screen is a filter with a ‘Find Name’ text field, ‘GO’ button and ‘Filter By Type’ drop-down menu.
The Professional List table is comprised of the following columns populated via the field beneath the table:
- ‘Code’: Enter the applicable code.
- ‘Type’ drop-down menu: Select the applicable type from the options provided (‘Judge’, ‘Lawyer’, ‘Other’).
- ‘Name’: Enter the applicable professional name in the provided text field.
- ‘Firm’: Enter the firm of the professional in the provided text field.
- ‘Address’ (lines 1 and 2): Enter the professional’s City, State and Zip Code in the provided text fields.
- ‘Email’ hyperlink: Enter the professional’s email address in the provided text field and click the ‘Email’ hyperlink to open a new email message in Outlook.
- ‘Phone’ (‘Office’ ‘Mobile’, ‘Home’, ‘Fax’): Enter the professional’s phone information in the provided text fields.
- ‘Staff’: Use the ellipsis button to invoke the Attorney Staff List modal pop-up to select professionals, as necessary, to populate the ‘Staff’ field.
‘New Item’ button. Click on this button to create a new professional.
‘Edit Item’ button: Click on this button to edit a professional’s information.
‘Options…’ button: Click on this button, as applicable, and select from the available options.
Single Print and Multiple Print icons: Click on the appropriate icon to print the Professional List.
‘Usage’ button: Click on this button to see which cases this professional is used with.
‘Save’: Click on this button to save your selections.
