ECF Logins (PACER Logins)

Setup Tables

Trustee Suite can store multiple ECF logins (PACER passwords).  This enables you to use multiple logins without having to enter the information each time.  In addition, the various logins can be assigned to specific users, and have security right controls.

Accessing the Logins

From the top Main Menu toolbar (File Menu), select ‘Tables’ > ‘Setup Tables’ > ‘ECF Logins’, which generates the ECF Logins screen shown below.  Using the ‘New’ button, which invokes the second screenshot shown below, enter each PACER password by populating the fields in the second screen below (as described beneath the screen).

  • Assign the appropriate Trustee number and users assigned to each login.
  • Court URL – Enter the web address for the court.
  • Login name – Enter the login name for the specific Pacer login.
  • Login Password – Enter the PACER password.
  • Description – Assign a description or keyword to help identify login.
  • Filing Login – Check if this is the default login.
  • Client Code Option – This optional field enables you to enter a client code.

When accessing a feature that uses a PACER login, a pop up will prompt you to select a different login if desired.
