You can flag a case or cases with various “To-Do” items.  These “attention” cases can then be identified by filtering for them or printing them out in a list.

3.  Select the ‘Auto Add?’ checkbox if every case you mark for Attention is to be marked with this “To-Do” item.

4.  Click on the ‘Save’ button.

Using Attention Reasons to Track Debtor Refunds

Users can create their own list of specific Attention Codes for individual use. From the Home Page in Trustee Suite go to the Task Bar and select Tables, then choose ‘Attention Reason’ from the drop-down menu.

Next, click ‘New’ in order to Add a new description.

In this example, ‘Pending Tax Refund’ was added to the Attention Reason List.  Click ‘Save’ to complete the entry.

These Attention reasons can then be accessed from the Case Information page.  Look for the ‘Attention!’ button located at the bottom of the Case page.  Once you click the ‘Attention!’ button, right click the box next to the button to activate the drop-down list.  The reasons you listed will appear and can be then selected from the drop-down list.

This option is helpful because it enables you to go into each applicable case and check the ‘Attention!’ button with the identifiable reason.  Once an identifier is attached to cases with pending tax refunds, they can easily be queried for user use.

To Query Cases

To query cases, go to the Trustee Suite Home Page and click on ‘Report’ from the Tool Bar.  Choose the ‘Case’ tab from the Print Reports screen to run either the Case Listing or Case Memos report.  When cases no longer require tracking, remove the Attention reason.  This way they will not show up on your query reports.

Note:  SnapShots can also be filtered by Attention Reasons.
