341(a) Import and Export

After having saved the cases you modified on your laptop, log on to Trustee Suite on the Main computer.

Importing Cases from the Lite System to the Main System

There are two ways to move (import) cases from the Lite system to the Main system:

1. From the top Main Menu toolbar (File Menu), select ‘File’ > ‘Lite Export’ > ‘Import from Lite’.

2. From the Form Selection toolbar on the far left side of the page:

•  Click on the ‘341(a) Wkst’ tab.

•  Click on the ‘341(a) Export’ link from the 341(a) Wkst sub-menu below the tabs on the far left side of the page.

After using either of the above options to initiate the import of cases to the Main system, you might see the message, “Unzipping Import File”, at the top right of the Trustee Suite screen.  Next, the Import from Lite window will appear as shown below.

The list of cases to be imported will be displayed.  Click on ‘Import’ to begin the import process.  You will see the message, “The import is complete! Would you like to delete the Lite import file now?”  Click on ‘Yes’.  If you are in the 341(a) Worksheet, click on the ‘Go’ button to see the cases.
