Once the ‘Dates’ tab has been set up in the Outlook Configuration screen (see Calendar, Tasks, Professionals and QuikDocs Tabs), data will begin to flow in real time between Trustee Suite and Outlook.
Dates synchronization originates from Trustee Suite and is sent to Outlook. After a date is created in Outlook from Trustee Suite, a linkage is established between Outlook and Trustee Suite and any changes made to that date in Outlook will be kept in sync with the date in Trustee Suite.
Use the table below to see how updates in Trustee Suite or Outlook affect the synchronization of Dates:
- Action Item – This column describes where and how the data is first changed.
- Date Change – A ‘Yes’/’No’ in the Dates column describes if the action item makes a corresponding change to the Date in the other system.
Date Action Item | Date Change |
Added in Trustee Suite | Yes |
Changed in Trustee Suite | Yes |
Deleted in Trustee Suite | Yes |
Added in Outlook | No |
Changed in Outlook | Yes |
Deleted in Outlook | No |
When a Date is synchronized from Trustee Suite, the following fields are mapped into Outlook:
Example | Trustee Suite Field | Outlook Field |
1 |
Case Number | Subject |
2 |
Date Name | Subject |
3 |
Date Value | Start Time & End Time |
EXAMPLE – The image below is an example of how a Trustee Suite Date would appear in the Outlook Calendar Details screen (the example numbers in the table above correspond with the purple numbered comment boxes in the screenshot below).
