Link Deposits

Click the ‘Receipt’ button on the Deposit screen in Banking (accessed either via single clicking on the transaction from the Banking Screen grid or by clicking on the ‘Banking’ tab from the Form Selection Toolbar on the far left side of the screen and selecting the ‘Make Deposits’ button at the bottom of the Banking screen) to link a deposit to an entry in the Receipts Log.

Select the ‘Receipt’ button and choose the correct Receipt item from the grid shown below.

The Payor Name, Check Amount and Check Number of the selected receipt will automatically update the proper fields on the Deposit screen. Just fill in the rest of the information (‘Asset #’ and ‘Category’) on the Deposit screen (shown in the first screenshot above).

Click on ‘Save’, which will link the deposit to the Receipts Log.

You will see that the ‘Receipt’ button will turn green when the deposit has been attached to a receipt.
