Balances for Open Asset Cases

The Balances for Open Asset Cases Report is a detailed list of your open asset cases.  The report will only list open asset cases (cases with no closed date and no TDR date).  On the last page of the report, Trustee Suite will total Asset Value, Remaining Value (of assets), Ledger Balance and Bank Balance.

Accessing the Report

From the Trustee Suite Main Menu toolbar, select ‘Reports’, click on the ‘Case’ tab and select ‘Balances for Open Asset Cases’ from the Print Reports screen to invoke the Parameters for Balances for Open Asset Cases screen (shown below).

Generating the Report

From the Parameters for Balances for Open Asset Cases screen, populate the following fields:

  • Trustee:  Select by Trustee number or ‘-All-‘.
  • Case:  Select by Case number or ‘-All-‘.
  • Sort by:  Select either ‘Case Number’ or ‘Case Name’ via the radio buttons.
  • Include Special Attention case(s) only:  By selecting this checkbox, you can run a case listing of only your open asset cases marked for attention from the Case form.
  • Additional Information to Include:  Select from the following options:
    • Special Attention descriptions:  Selecting this checkbox allows you to include special attention descriptions in your report.
    • Case Administration Information:  Selecting this checkbox allows you to include case administration information in your report.
    • Include blank dates:  Selecting this checkbox allows you to include blank dates in your report.

Printing the Report

From the Parameters for Balances for Open Asset Cases screen, select from the following options:

  • Preview:  Selecting this button enables you to view before printing.
  • Print:  Selecting this button sends the report to the default printer.
  • To PDF:  This button prints the report to PDF and saves a copy to Document Management.
  • Cancel:  This button undoes any changes and cancels the print job.
  • Save Defaults:  This button sets the current field selections as the default each time this report is accessed.
