Once the ‘Professionals’ tab has been set up to synchronize in the Outlook Configuration screen (see Calendar, Tasks, Professionals and QuikDocs Tabs), data will begin to flow real time between Trustee Suite and Outlook.
Professional synchronization can originate from either Trustee Suite or Outlook. This depends on the synchronization options selected in the Outlook Configuration screen. Professionals/Contact information is sent into a specified Outlook Contact folder, which is selected in the Configuration screen. After a Professional is created, a linkage is established and changes made to that record will be synchronized between Trustee Suite and Outlook.
Use the table below to see how updates in Trustee Suite or Outlook affect synchronization of Professionals.
- Action Item – This column describes where and how the data is first changed.
- Date Change – A ‘Yes’/’No’ in the Professionals Change column describes if the action item makes a corresponding change to Professionals in the other system.
Action Item | Professionals Change |
Added in Trustee Suite | Yes |
Changed in Trustee Suite | Yes |
Deleted in Trustee Suite | Yes |
Added in Outlook | Yes |
Changed in Outlook | Yes |
Deleted in Outlook | No |
EXAMPLE – If an action involves deleting a Professional within Outlook, the corresponding change will not be made in Trustee Suite Professionals.
When Professional synchronization begins, the following fields in Trustee Suite and Outlook are mapped to one another:
