The Bond Status Report is a report that shows the “bonding status” of each of your cases, whether they are bonded under a blanket bond or individual case bond.
Accessing the Report
From the Trustee Suite Main Menu toolbar, select ‘Reports’, click on the ‘Case’ tab and select ‘Bond Status Report’ from the Print Reports screen, which invokes the Parameters for Bond Status screen shown below.
Generating the Report
From the Parameters for Bond Status screen, populate the following fields:
- Trustee: Select by Trustee number or ‘-All-‘.
- Bond Rate: Enter the appropriate bond rate. The Bond Rate determines the amount of bond required, based on your ledger or bank balances.
- Date Thru: Enter the appropriate date.
- Balance to Use for Calculations: Select either ‘Use Ledger Balance’ or ‘Use Bank Balance’ for the case via the radio buttons. Selecting ‘Use Ledger Balance’ will include deposits in transit and outstanding checks in the calculations, while selecting ‘Use Bank Balance’ will use your actual Bank Available Balance in the calculations.
Printing the Report
From the Parameters for Bond Status screen, select from the following options:
- Preview: This button enables you to view the report before printing.
- Print: This button sends the report to the default printer.
- To PDF: This button prints the report to PDF and saves a copy to Document Management.
- Cancel: This button undoes any changes and cancels the print job.
- Save Defaults: This button sets the current field selections as the default each time this report is accessed.
