Write a Check

This procedure explains how to write an individual check.  If you need to post several checks at once, use Claims Distribution by clicking on the ‘Claims’ tab from the Form Selection toolbar on the far left side of the screen and then clicking on the ‘Distribution’ link from the Claims sub-menu beneath the tabs on the far left side of the screen.

Individual Checks

1. Open the Banking screen by clicking on the ‘Banking’ tab from the Form Selection toolbar on the far left side of the screen, which invokes the Banking screen.

2. Confirm the correct Bank Account Number is selected from the Banking screen.

3. Click on the ‘Write Checks’ button at the bottom of the screen.  A blank Check Information screen will appear as shown below.

4. Using the ‘TAB’ key on your keyboard, fill in the Check Information screen.

5. Click on the ‘Save’ button.
