In order to send backups, you must be added to our Web Backup database by a Stretto Administrator. If you have not been contacted by a Stretto Hardware Technician to set up your User ID and password, please call (800) 634-7734.
Accessing Setup:
- From the top Main Menu toolbar (File Menu), select ‘File’ > ‘System Options’. The System Options window (shown below) will open. Click on the ‘System-Wide’ tab and check the box, ‘Enable transmission of Backups to Stretto via the Internet’ on the lower left side of the screen. Click on ‘OK’.
Initiating Backup to Stretto
This process can be conducted via the Home Page link titled ‘Most Recent backup Sent to Stretto’. This link will walk the user through backing up to Stretto. This can also be set as a scheduled task.
What to Back Up
- Data – This backs up Trustee Suite data only.
- Data and WP Forms – This option backs up data and WP DOCS.
Options for Backup
- Local – This will save a copy to a specified folder on the local machine.
- Remote – This will save a copy to a specific folder designated on the server.
- Stretto – This will send a backup to Stretto headquarters.
- Note: Only one user can be logged in to complete this option.
