Find Information in Trustee Suite Fast!

Trustee Suite 8.12 introduces our new SnapShots feature, as well as a number of features that were requested during the release of 8.0 and at our 2006 Customer Advisory Council.  We encourage you to take a few moments to read through our new and enhanced features below to become familiar with the new update. If you have any questions or would like additional information, ask your Account Rep for details.

  • New! Snapshots. Need to query information in Trustee Suite? SnapShots will help you.  With SnapShots, you can build filters (queries) from the fields in Trustee Suite and display the results in an interactive grid.  Once your results are displayed, you can be print them to a report or export them to a spreadsheet, database or other specified file format. SnapShots allows you to color code field information to help identify important data in Trustee Suite.

For more information about this feature, select SnapShots from your Shortcut toolbar and click on the Help button at the bottom of the screen.  We also offer a new e-Learning course, available on our web site, that covers the basics of SnapShots.

  • New! Access to your Court Docket. Our new Court Docket link is available from both the Case View of Document Management and the Links shortcut in Trustee Suite. This new feature makes it simple to View your Case Docket at the court. With just one click on the Court Docket link, you are logged into your court’s ECF site and taken directly to the docket of your currently selected case.

  • Automatic Downloading of Claims! With just a click, Trustee Suite will log you into your court, navigate to the Claims Register for your current case, and download the claims information into Trustee Suite. The system also checks for duplicates so that you can download claims multiple times over the life of a case. Our Claim Import feature is also compatible with courts who upgrade to CM/ECF version 3.0. Simply click on the Claim Import link on the Claims Screen to get started.

  • View your Proof of Claims. Our Document List now has an option to display the Proof of Claims stored in Document Management. Use this feature when you are in the Claims screen.
  • Print Labels/Envelopes for DSO’s.  Trustee Suite’s DSO print menus now include the option to print Labels and Envelopes after printing your DSO letters. Simply click the Label/Envelope button on the print screen.
  • BAPCPA Support.
    • Trustee Suite now provides identification on cases that were opened after 10/17/2005. When the case is part of the new legislation, the letters BAPCPA will display in green next to the case opened date.
    • A Payment Advices checkbox is now available on the 341(a) tab of the Case screen. You can report on these cases through the new SnapShots feature.
    • Two new system dates have been added to the Dates tab: Tax Return Received and Tax Return Disposed. Use the new SnapShots feature to help keep track of tax returns on your cases.
  • Ledger Updates.
    • Easy to view.  The ledger screen now expands to fit your screen resolution to make it easy to view. Regardless of your settings, you can maximize the ledger to fit your screen.
    • See more of your Accounts. A slide bar has been added between the Accounts and the Ledger grid, allowing you full control of the number of accounts that are displayed. Just click  on the bar and drag it to a desired position. Trustee Suite will remember the position the next time  the Ledger screen is opened.
    • Highlights! Trustee Suite will highlight the selected record in yellow, making it easier to see which account or transaction you are working on.
    • More Information! Columns have been added in the Ledger grid that display the asset/claim number, as well as the UTC Code for the transaction.
    • Running Balances.  Click on the Running Balances link in the sub-menu to view the running balance of all your transactions.  Double-Click on a specific transaction and go directly to the specific details of that transaction to make edits. This new feature also includes filtering and sorting options for each column on the grid, making it easy to find a transaction.

  • Document Management Updates.
    • New Case Selection! The case selection information in Trustee Suite has now been incorporated into Document Management. Just type either the case name or case number in the case field, and the system automatically detects your case. You can also use Alt + F8 in Document Management to change your case.
    • Faster! We’ve enhanced Document Management to make it faster to load and navigate.
    • Sub-Folder Batch Update. The Selected View now displays a Sub-Folder button to help you batch update your sub-folders for selected cases.
    • Improved Sorting. Document Management now saves your column positions and sort orders throughout your session and remembers them each time you return.
  • Export more information to your 341(a) Meeting. The 341(a) HTML Export now includes DSO information and the related check boxes for credit counseling, tax returns, and payment advices.  We’ve also added information for the second debtor.
  • Updated Case Imports. We’ve adjusted the case import function so that the AKA/DBA information will import into the appropriate fields.
  • Bond Limits on the Home Page. Easily track cases that are over their bond limit on the Home Page.  A new link has been added under the Trustee section that alerts you of cases whose ledger balance has exceeded the bond limit. Click on the link and a custom SnapShot will display all offending cases.
  • Updated Merge Codes. Our Merge Codes now include fields for email addresses. Run the Case Merge Report to find out which codes are assigned to these new fields.
  • Faster e-Mailing from Document Management. You can now email from Document Management with fewer steps, because you no longer have to un-check the zip and document notes option when sending an email. Set it one time and the system will remember your preference.
  • Report Updates.
    • Task and Calendar Reports now show the Case Name and Case Number.
    • Calendar Monthly and Calendar Weekly Reports have been updated to show more daily entries, and includes a summary page at the end of each page to display the information in column format.
    • Professional Reporting. We’ve added two new reports to provide information on all professionals tied to cases and vice-versa.
    • IRS Refund Turnover Report. We’ve added a new report that will help you file IRS Refund requests for your Debtors.
